The Gentle 180 degree molded J-shape enables greater water flow, without the restrictions found in other brands that use multiple 90 degree bends. These J- tubes are available in 3 standard diameter reaches to accommodate multiple aquarium frame widths. Each kit comes standard with our (most popular) 1-3/8” Diameter Reach J-tube by default. However, a choice of either 1-7/8” or 2-3/8” may be swapped with the default, but such a request must be made with your order via eBay message before your item is shipped. on The Advanced Kits come with tight fitting adjustable nozzle parts so desired directional flow can be achieved. However these parts are able to be permanently glued only if desired or needed.Advanced Return line kits, will include a back flush siphon break feature designed to disrupt a siphon and prevent excess water from back flushing into your sump in the event of a power failure. This feature allows you to extend the return line deeper into the aquarium providing better water circulation in hard to reach areas without using additional power heads. This feature is also adjustable to re-direct back pressure into the aquarium preventing misdirected back spray inside the aquarium hood. Duck Bill diffuser nozzle tip(s) are included with “Advanced Kits”. These nozzles are designed to spread water out over a broader area for more efficient water circulation. Adjustable nozzle tips can be rotated to direct this spread where you desire.
