From this vantage point, look for seals surfacing to breathe air and sea otters wrapped in kelp. You may also spot black cormorants perched on rocks and harbor seals resting on the beach. Marine mammals are trained to move between habitats as needed to support animal care and habitat cleaning, so they may appear to be in the same space even though a series of gates and doors keeps them safely separated.
